Like for example, I've noticed that especially in the working world (and I've seen this in other places), that people make conversation like their in a sitcom. Always making jokes about anything they can come up with at ALL time no matter how dry or sophmoric. People seem afriad to talk about real issues in life. One thing I see a lot of is, if there are only guys working somewhere, there's always that group who always use gay humor, bringing up anything they can about phallic symbols, d*cks, whos gay who's not, who acts gay, calling each other gay, etc.

As soon as someone brings up a real conversation about something, people get scared and look at you strange, or treat you like a mood killer, or think of you as too serious. Or they misjudge your character as negative or something.

Is this how conversation is suppose to be? Full of strange jokes and gay humor? Or mind numbing talk about sports and sport stars stats? Maybe people just bore me.

Any one else experience this?

If every school kid in the world sung same anthem, that made them them proud to be part of the human race, we might all have something in common. What song or tune do you think would make us feel we are all in the same boat and pulling together.

With other women there is a debate if they're beautiful or not except for Asian and Latin women, most men almost unanamously agree that they are beautiful, hard working, and have the best personalities/attitudes. I'm a white guy and have no real bias, ive just observed this for a long.

I'm talking a bog-standard runaround versus bog-standard horse and cart. I'm thinking that if we all went back to the good old horse and cart method then it would be extremely environmentally friendly. And we'd all have fabulous rose bushes :-)

#1 Anna Nicole Smith's son dies from a bad combination of drugs.

#2 On Halloween, NYPD police were forced to shoot the son of a community activist who pulled a gun on them and fired 3 shots.

#3 On Halloween a young boy was struck by a car after he and some other boys were throwing eggs at cars on the highway (risking the lives of other drivers like myself) and he was killed.

Personally, when I see people on the news dying left or right from doing ILLEGAL things or simply STUPID things it gives me a grin from ear to ear.

I personally do not break the law. I do my best to be a model citizen but as a resident of NYC and a worker in the board of education - I slowly see the entire society of America slipping into a culture of stupidity and ignorance.

Kids come to school with $200 cellphones and sneakers yet CAN'T F*CKIN READ.
They threaten and harrass each other and even teachers and there are no consequences due to a lack of corporal punishment.

There was a little boy and girl killed on my block by a Folk "gangster". He now wears their tears tattooed under his eye as a symbol of the success of his hunt. I am repulsed, and I think we as a country should put all these punk a** gangsters on the front lines to die for a good cause(supposing this war is a "good cause") instead of putting our INNOCENT young men and women on the front lines to fight. They probably joined the armed forces to get a good education. Of course they knew what the consequences could turn out to be, but there are so many a**holes that are waging war in our streets. I think that our government should make good use of them instead of paying for a comfortable LIFE in prison.

[when will the downtrodden in the world [100% of humans] be free?]

when americans commit themselves to the simple sanity and sense of founding-fathers capitalism? ie,

justly-limited-fortunes capitalism [lfc]? [ie, fortunes limited to the maximum any person can deserve by contribution to society by their own work]

ie, unjust-wealth -concentration-prevention capitalism?

the overpaid/overpowered in america are downtrodden by the misery of overpay: overpay can add very little pleasure but adds very great pain [because fairpay [pay only for contribution to society by own work] satisfies almost all desires, but overpay attracts thieves, plunderers, hostility, danger, insecurity, isolation, etc, in direct proportion to size of the overpay - plutocracies have always been toppled, usually unpleasantly - plunderers [whether empire or individual] get plundered] - where's the fun, since the more you grab, the more people grab off you?

when ppl learn you cant enjoy unless all enjoy??

I don't think so. Also they do everything based on bias feelings. They take one issue that they are passionate about and vote for the party that supports it regardless to what the party does with the rest of the issues.

I truly believe this is the stupidest society in the history of existance. There is something so wrong when a society just follows.

Hay, the road to success is down, and every person has the right to go to hell if they want to.

OK, I've seen it on Yahoo Answers, in magazines, etc... people asking questions of total strangers that are either common sense or much too important to be relying on any old schmo for anything solid. I saw in a magazine the other day, 'My 9 year old is bad at math, should I get him a tutor?' ---Where has common sense gone? Are we that paralyzed that we can't evaluate these types of personal decisions?
