This question isn't about beauty per se, but why someone would take time out of their life to let a complete stranger who walks past them - who they'll probably never meet, that they think they are unattractive. It's mindless cruelty isn't it? But awfully common in Australia.

Most men never grow up and a lot r eagletistic a.......they can be very blunt cruel and ignorant.Those kind of men usually never had a mother or a well mannered father to teach them how to treat a women.Beware if they don't treat there mom good most likely the same will go for you.

Because men are shallow idiots and for some it feels good to put others down.
But also we are socially trained to value one thing over another. We do have a naturally born aesthetic sense, and know what we like or dislike, but mostly it is socially constructed and learned.
We do respond to natural proportions and symmetry, but I think our response to abnormally large or manufactured boobs is learned. Big boobs are valued so we (men) find them even more stimulating than naturally.
h Heffner and Hollywood have created their version of beauty and the world buys it. Another ideal of beauty will come along.

It's not just guys who do that-- I know lots of chicks who do that too. But you're right, guys do seem worse about it. And I'm not really sure why except that if a girl looks nice, it makes them feel self-conscious-- so if they comment on her looks that's like they are putting her in her place, right? And if they don't like the way she looks, then they will bully her in an attempt to make her feel bad.
I usually won't talk to men who do that. I know a lot of good insults, so if they are too bad about it I'll crack on them and make them get upset.

Becuase guys think that turns a girl on... which shows how naive they are! Not all guys are like that, though. I've been veryy lucky to have many good guy friends, and one of my guy friends told another guy off for acting perverted around girls today! I love it when guys understand what hurts us

It's rude and crass no matter what gender is on the receiving end of it. Anyone who would do such a thing is simply stupid trash.
