Sadly there is nothing funny about where I live - Hayes in Middlesex. Its in urban decay - teenagers are being arrested for shooting at buses and ambulances with BB guns, shops have stopped selling fruit, veg and eggs because school kids are using them as missiles and the tagging - oh the awful tags are appearing nightly looking like childish scribble on houses, shops and even on the side of parked vans. We are so close to Heathrow that we have a HIGH proportion of immigrants - legal and illegal and they outweigh white british by around 4 to one i this area. Nope - cant find anything funny about that - sorry x

I guess the oddest thing about my town is the fact that there's a dirty old canal running down the middle - and despite the fact that it's dirty, folks have built up multi-million dollar homes along the banks! Go figure!

Yeah they built a load of houses on top of a river and every winter it rises and all the houses get flooded. It is on the news every year and still nothing has been done about it. Pure dumb.

at the local Wendy's a customer had received their order wrong and when they came back got into a fight with the cashier and the cashier threw a ladle of chili at the customer the reason this is funny is because it made the headlines

we have a roundabout surounded by 8 smaller rounderbouts that you can go anyway round, its ok if you are a local, we have the hang of it but you can spot a visitor..they are the ones sitting there looking petrified. its the only one in the country

Welcome to the Corn Capitol!!
Big ear of corn, 15ft high, when you enter the city...looks really dumb as there is hardly any farms left here and houses built all around the "big corn cob"
