Not much where I live now, but I just moved this year from the Logan Square neighborhood in Chicago and holy crap we had it rough there.

My upstairs neighbor got mugged in broad daylight on a major street walking home from the train. Gang bangers were killing each other all the time. A friend of mine got beat up just because he happened to walk past some gang banger fighting with his girlfriend.

Almost nil. Very seldom does anything happen in my community, and IF it does, it is done by some idiot out of the slums of the closest large city. Pops

I wouldn't say there's a lot, but when I go on vacation crime records are always down 200%

Almost none. We have petty shoplifting, a few DUI's, maybe a murder every 2-3 years, some domestic violence. We are a pretty safe community.

I live in Manitou Springs in Colorado, and the crime rate here is almost nonexistent.
