Where do you live and why or why not do you like it there?

Believe it or not, the ones Western society worship--the Romans and Greeks--had a promiscuous societies and were openly bisexual and homosexual.

I am not condoning promiscuous behavior due to the potential for disease, but if two adults want to have sex, why should others disapprove? If it is consensual and biologically safe, then why must others criticize? How do people lose self-respect if they engage in consensual sexual activity with other adults?

(I never used to think like this, but now I'm 20, meaning more common sense. )

Like in the US we ground them, yell at them, or put them in time out. What is a common punishment in other countries?

I am asking this question after I saw a user who says in her profile that she is 11 years old (but almost 12 years old).

Here are some of her questions:
"Kissing How-To?"
"What is a good oppurtunity to wear a thong and show it off?"
"Why do us girls feel so sexy in camis and?"

WOW. That's very . . . mature questions to be asking at such a young age. If this person actually is 11, I don't know for sure. But the way they wrote there questions, it seems like they are 11 years old. And by the way, the person has a picture of herself for her Answers avatar. An actual picture, and she does look 11 in the picture.

Kids are growing up so fast, don't you think? What is causing this? Shouldn't they be riding there bike to the candy store, or playing board games or something? Whenever kids walking home from school, walk past my house, I here them talking about adult things like sex, and porn. And these are young kids.

What's causing this!?!?!

All I know is that there are about 25 000 people settled in Vojvodina or Croatia. They say that they came from Ukraine but they are not Ukrainians or Russians. Their language differs from the Ukrainian. In Former Yugoslavia, they had elementary schools in their own language. I would like to know more about this nice and friendly population.

I have noticed a few pubs have antique adverts up (y'know them metal plate things) with the 'Guiness is Good For You' slogan. I'm pretty sure they couldn't use that slogan nowadays, cos it's, well, not really that good for you.

So... is it legal for pubs to have these signs given that they're memorabilia of sorts, or could you accuse them of false advertising?

Im looking for the average number of murders in the US all together, not just in one city. This assignment is due very soon. If so, do you know the homicide rates by year, month, week, and day? I would like to provide alot of specific evidence on this project! Thanks :):):)

Racial hatred has never abated over the years, in-fact apathy disguised as tolerance has been the long standing facade which is fast eroding.

For example if a girl makes out with a guy at a party, she will be thought of as a "sl*t" despite being a virgin. Males especially will judge the girl even if they themselves have done much more. Yet nobody will judge the guy!

It takes two to tango.

I'm looking for some sort of club membership or generally something scheduled to do to meet up with well-educated people who have taste and are interesting - I just haven't a clue what it could be. I don't play any instruments, and sports bore me. Is there some club or organization where people just meet up to hang out with a Brandy, smoking Cuban cigars, and do not discuss politics or religion (can't stand those topics), but, who knows, literature or mysticism?
I'd be really grateful if you had any ideas for me.
Thanks!

We're raised on disposable products designed to make things easier, drive cars to get us there faster,e-mail instead of letters, telephones instead of visits. What are we rushing towards, and what's so great about saving time when we don't really use it for anything worthwhile.(This is not for those that have fulfilling lives, only those that feel something missing, like I do.No,it's not Jesus, either!)

In many countries, there are regulations stating that under-sized fish must be thrown back, despite the fact that by the time they are classified on board the boat, they are dead and therefore the damage to fish stocks is already done. Many teams are looking at ways to stop this happening. I just wondered at what point the fish actually die. Is it in the net, as the net is hauled out, soon after landing the net or due to the long time taken to classify the fish.
