Well, fred, I was talking with fred and fred the other day, and fred walked up and said that fred wants to talk with all of us. Seemed they were planning a surprise party for fred, and it was important that he not find out about it. Fred wanted to bring cake and baloons, but fred said that fred is diabetic and salad would be better. Fred thought a cookout would be a good party idea, but fred has hayfever, so fred and fred are still trying to come up with an idea. If you think of anything, call fred to let her know. You know her number.

Ok, but Fred sitting next to me is already confused because I asked Fred to tell Fred that it is time for dinner and to behave because Fred and Fred are coming to visit and they are bringing Fred, Fred, and Fred and the dog, Fred.

Names are labels. When you've moving you don't name every box fred, cause you need to know which is which.
Same with humans "Oh by the way, Fred called."

If everyone was named Fred and someone said "Hey Fred" everyone would look around at once. It'd be too confusing.

because if we called everyone fred and you would shout out FREDDDDD everyone would look around and say what? and then you would have a hard time finding the person you were looking for cause they would all be fred and if you were talking about someone you would be like yeah fred did this and they'd be like me!!??? wtf! and youd be like no the other fred no that fred and theyd be all confused and i would be all confused so thats why...SPORK

because every one wants to feel like an individual. If every one was named Fred and every thing was named apple how would you get what you wanted. You ask for an apple and get nitro. Names are important.

Have you ever worked in a place where multiple people had the same name? Do you realize how much time you waste each time your looking for one of them and you have to repeat, "I'm looking for John..., no, not John from accounting, John from IT, the one with the beard....yes, blond John..."
Now imagine having to do that for every person in existance; we would never get anything done as a society.
