How do parents punish their children in different countries?

Like in the US we ground them, yell at them, or put them in time out. What is a common punishment in other countries?

In other countries they spank their children. In my opinion that is the best way to punish a child, and that is the best way that they will learn, to be good.

spanking is very bad for kids, not good. it inhibits iq growth, teaches violence as a problem solver, teaches that people who love you can hurt you, breeds resentment against the parent, and doesn't work.
