I feel that we, as people, put to much of an emphasis on revenge. Yes, sometimes a CERTAIN TYPE of revenge is sweet (Ike and Tina. He beat her, she left him, who’s one of the most greatest acts in music history now?) but is all revenge sweet? Especially the kind that can seriously hurt somebody.

How many times has somebody did you wrong and you got your revenge (whatever the case may be)? Do you still feel that sense of justice you felt then years later or do you say I’m sorry I ever stooped to their level?

It seems to me that more and more people are either rolling over and conceeding defeat so that they don't have to debate or simply using the excuse. "That is just how I feel" without giving any real reasoning. Why are people so offended when you question something they feel strongly about and yet they aren't willing to present a convincing argument?
Also are there any good debate forums out there for people who enjoy a good debate?

I mean people who push pass you to get to the front of the queue.
I had a big row with a woman in Tescos today (although it was technically the counter assistants fault for not motioning her to the back of the queue), and eventually told her "you are a rude f-ing cow then", after ascertaining that she did understand the concept of a queue.
I have given up smoking today so I am a little uptight.
Was I right to have a go?
Would you do the same?

Does it seem like everywhere you go there's people that just talk about the dumbest things, things that you don't give a crap about. Do you ever look at someone & think " why are you telling me this, I hardly know you, & I just don't care.

I am so tired of TV. I have about 150 channels and nothing seems to amuse me. Granted, I will watch a sporting event once in a while, or the Discovery Channel, but other than that there is nothing on that is mind stimulating- rather mind numbing. The objective of most television programming and commercials is to dumb people down, brainwash and mislead the public with fear and insecurity, and promote consumerism. There are just so many better and more productive things to do in life than sit in front of a TV in a zombie like trance and be fed a bunch of BS. TV is incredibly powerful and most definitely exerts an influence on the publics’ belief systems and behavior. The scary thing is people are buying into everything they see on TV and this is overshadowing a person’s ability to think critically.

Were have all the rational sane people gone. The world has gone completely cukoo. People thinking they are so important that only their opinions are correct. Hell and damnation if you dare give you kids sweets. So what if your kids like playstation they cant go out because their parent are frightened of paedophilles. What are the kids to do read books play board games there are only so many.

Sorry about the rant but it all makes me so mad sometimes.
