We all know our history. We all know what happened to us and we know it was horrible.
But, I believe our ancestors and the civil rights leaders of the 60s would be ashamed of what some of us within our community do and let happen everyday. They worked hard so their children and grandchildren can have an equal place in the world, and some of us do too, however most DON"T!
Why the apathy? the blame game? If you don't care for yourself, no one else will!!
I understand that the cycle of poverty is hard to break, but how can we expect to move up if we don't try and instead kill our brother for some drugs?
I admit that I will get defensive when a white person points it to me, but that's because we usually don't like people telling us what's wrong in our home.
I for one, think it is condescending and an insult if someone said to me " Well I'm going to let you work here because you're black although you might not be as smart as me or work as hard as I do"
What can we do to help?

WorldNetDaily.com reports: “The new al-Qaida field commander in Afghanistan is calling for Muslims to leave the U.S. – particularly Washington and New York – in anticipation of a major terror attack to rival Sept. 11, according to an interview by a Pakistani journalist. Abu Dawood told Hamid Mir, a reporter who has covered al-Qaida and met with Osama bin Laden, the attack is being coordinated by Adnan el-Shukrijumah and suggests it may involve some form of weapon of mass destruction smuggled across the Mexican border. ‘Our brothers are ready to attack inside America. We will breach their security again,’ he is quoted as saying. ‘There is no timeframe for our attack inside America; we can do it any time.’… The terrorist was last seen in Mexico, where, on Nov. 1, 2004, he allegedly hijacked a Piper PA Pawnee cropduster from Ejido Queretaro near Mexicali to transport a nuclear weapon and nuclear equipment into the U.S., according to Paul Williams, a former FBI consultant and author

I fear I am becoming a bit of a recluse. I hate to leave the house and I won't if there's any way I can aviod it. I work just a few minutes from my home and where my kids go to school. If it weren't for work and grocery shopping, I'd never leave the house. People are just so mean these days. I hate that this is affecting my kids because I usually keep them in the house with me. Just being around people sometimes makes me physically ill. I guess maybe I'm losing it. Does anyone ever feel this way?

I'm really desperate.

I play this online game where we can do some onlie stuff (questions etc.) and earn credits. So I was like, wow, this is really cool, I get to earn credit (in exchange for something in the game ex. weapons, armor) without spending anything.

however, when I checked the free offers, I'm not eligible for those because I'm not in the US. I was so upset. We're only allowed to vote for the server and earn about 20x less than what we're supposed to earn if I were in the US.

can you help me with this? I'm really desperate, all the excitement when I heard about this thing went away just because I'm not in the US.

Please, if there's anyone who can help me, contact me for details.

It'll really be a big help for me.

Thanks and i hope someone contacts me. God Bless you all.

I should probably also stop being an a*s, eventhough it's the most important part of the body. If it stops functioning the rest of the body will be in a world of cr*p.

Everyone walks through my office to get to another person's office even though they don't need to. It's not even a short cut. They never even speak to me while cutting through. I alwaya have to speak to them first. Do I have the right to be annoyed? Or am I just being anal?

I go to a small HBCU, and it seems 99.99% of the males here wear that....three years ago, nobody was wearing that....does anybody know who started it and why it caught on? I don't wear anything like that, and it's mad annoying to see all the black guys wearing the same exact thing...
