Everyone walks through my office to get to another person's office even though they don't need to. It's not even a short cut. They never even speak to me while cutting through. I alwaya have to speak to them first. Do I have the right to be annoyed? Or am I just being anal?

I'd be annoyed, frankly if they did that constantly then I would just not speak to them when they don't even bother to say hi in the first place. If you can shut the door or report the problem to HR then do so.

I would probably be annoyed too. If they don't have to walk through your office, then why do they? Plus, they could at least say hello on their way through.
If you have doors, I would start closing them.

Shut the door and listen to music that you like...whatever it is you like, but your friends and relatives complain about. If the closed door doesn't get them, the music will.
Oh, and treat them the exact same way when you have to go toward their offices.

I would definately get annoyed. It interrupts your work, you are being ignored, and bothered all the time!
Try placing a barrier in the way, something that makes them want to take another route! hope that helps...

Lock your doors so that it can't happen anymore. Let them know it distracts you while you are working. If that doesn't work. Go sit on their desks while they are working and don't say anything to them while you are doing it. They may get the point then.

yes ma'am let them know it is distracting
maybe you could put a planter in the way of the entrance
you could act overly annoyed (heavy sighs and dramatic OMIGODS work wonders)
throw things at them a water gun is always fun
a thin wire strategically placed

Would upset me too, rearrange the furniture so they can't walk through. If you can't do that, stop them when they cut through and tell them to cut it out.
