and hitting people in the face. One man had his nose broken by one. Fish battering people. It is a twist on the old saying "Man bites dog." What is the world coming to? You can't even make this stuff up.

'Flying fish batter boaters' is a line of such elegant alliteration that it must be considered for the Nobel Prize for Literature (Under Five Words Category).

All parties involved should attend the presentation ceremony in Sweden. The fish should have the option of sending a short pre-recorded message shot on underwater cam. The man involved should attend physically, and keep his speech brief in order to avoid stressing his broken nose further (just 'danks a dot' would do.)

At least Asian Carp are relatively blunt (I refer to physical shape only; in speech, they display typical Oriental obliqueness). Where I live, fisherman working on boats at night have to be careful not to stand between their lamps and the open sea, lest a three-foot-long needlefish suddenly leaps straight at them like a ghostly marine javelin.

It can be painful, at the very least.

ewww....creepy. Maybe a new movie similar to "The Birds" could be already in the works...The Fish, The Carp, The Flying Asian Carp. Perhaps you can think of a title more catchy. ;-)

I do hope this doesn't inspire anymore of the lame "let's have fun at work and throw the fish" videos for employees to have to sit through. Maybe it's not lame, just overused.

There's the catchy title just below: Flying Fish Batter Boaters. As soon as the book is completed the movie can go into production.

It is true about the Asian carp. They are trying to keep them out of other places. They were introduced by Asians whom liked to eat them from their native country. I saw on the news the other day and they called it redneck fishing. People were in their boats and catching them with nets. You were not allowed to use a fishing pole. I guess in this world anything can happen. We have to be very careful with our environment and not to introduce things out of their natural environment.

It does seem appropriate...maybe that new movie "Open Season" is inspiring the animals before it even comes out!
