for school i have to right a poem on how i feel about sept.11.
tell me what you think.

[in the begining i plan on writing the pldege of alligence]

Our people held hands and slowly bowed their heads in memory.
Slow tears came rolling down our mourning faces.
You told me that everything would be okay.
And that Busch would see us threw this depressing plague.
I squeezed your hand a little tighter.
As he made the speech I then realized that even he doesn’t have a plan.
At first I thought our country would crash down.

Scapegoats and predigests sound like a recipe for destruction.
Suicide bombers, 4th amendment being ignored, hostages.
What ever happened to “I pledge allegiance to the flag”?

People wanting our country to fall to pieces.
Not being able to have dependable homeland security.
What ever happened to “and to the republic [for which it stands]”?

People became suspicious of immigrants from the middle-east.
We made names and jokes about people we know nothing about.
What ever happened to “Liberty and justice for all”?

Did we forget about the previous wars?
Fundraisers and concerts that were made to stop the violence?
Our country needs help and fighting will not solve anything.
We need someone’s shoulder to lean on.
No deceit or a shoulder that we have to bribe to lean on.
What ever happened to “one nation under god, indivincible”?

Come on! It can't be that bad. Who the heck wrote those excellent reviews on drugstore.com?

I'm not a perfume type of guy. Cologne makes a guy smell like a girl. Body Sprays makes guys smell like crap.

I'm also not the kind of guy that spends a hundred dollars on a damn cologne at the shopping mall.

I'm not looking for cologne. I'm looking for aftershave. Is Aqua Velva that bad?

One reason for teen pregnancy is the fact that they want to prove that they are responsible by raising a child. Am I right? So then in turn they "accidentally" get pregnant.

My younger sister is really smart. Her mind is really quick and her analytical skills are beyond normal. She has an answer for everything and gets As in classes she barely studies for ( I hate her for that). But those are only the classes she says she's interested in. Anything that requires a little more effort, she gives up and is satisfied with a lower grade ( although she could have easily gotten a better grade).
She's super lazy but people don't see that because she manages to be at the top of her class without any work. I feel it's going to hurt her in the long run. Is there any solution?

For example.

I wake up at 5:30AM. I think about work, what I'll eat and wear. I get off at 5PM. When I make it home, I think about the day...and then I make sure I get my stuff ready for work.

I spend about 16 hours a day away from my family, because my mind is on work, or I'm at work..be it driving there, working there or thinking about it.

Does anyone else think that this is insane?
Shouldn't I be at home with my family?
If all American's are doing this...who is raising our children and what values are they instilling in them...

Alcohol is much more devastating to the body, has more potent side-effects, addiction, and causes much more violence and violent acts (assaults, drunk driving) than marijuana. So why is alcohol perfectly legal while marijuana has a negative connotation to it? I am not an alcoholic or pothead, just studying this issue for a Sociology class....
