I have one over my heart of my husband, but I got it when we were dating. It's not a branding or anything like that. It was a simple declaration of my love and commitment to spend the rest of my life with him. He's been my best friend for 27 years, and my husband for 2 years.

Lovers get tattoos because their logic is blinded by love.
When they come to their senses or worse, when they break-up with the person, they will regret having ruined their skin.
Never Ever get a tattoo. Use a marker or something that will wear off or can be removed without leaving a scar.
Even if you are married, what happens if you get a divorce.
You never know how you will feel in the future.

unfortunately, even in this day in age there is a lifestyle where the women are brainwashed into believing they are "owned" . I've seen women with a T-shirt that says "property of ----- ". Most of the time this means that woman will take whatever crap her "old man" dishes out. and then the poor thing advertises her "captivity" .

It is a stupid move done by stupid people. My ex, who broke up with me a couple of months previous, got a tattoo of his new girlfirend's name. And now he claims he is sill with her just do that he can pay off his credit card bills. I'd never tattoo a boyfriend's name on me, only my child's.

i would never tattoo a name on my body unless it was my childs name....and i would never get a tattoo in those regions because I dont feel like exposing my personal parts to the tattoo artist.
