as they are forced to deal with the challenges of today? I ask this because of the following: Increasing national debt, overly crowded prisons, pollution, lower wages for middle class, inflation rate increases, Social Security and Medicare Programs.

Hey all, I am male, 18 years old and I study acting here in Los Angeles since I was 15. It's my dream to become an actor (screen). I am quite good looking, my height is 5'4" 1/2 (without any shoes and about 5'7 at the very most WITH shoes...), would you say I am short? Do I still have the potentiality to grow taller after 18, even few more inches? Do you think my height will influence the opportunities of being able to get acting jobs here in Hollywood? Serious roles, not a Gary Coleman or a Danny DaVito (with no offense to them...lol)

I've studied many years to come to this point and now at the thought that height could influence my future depresses me greatly. What do you people think? Thank you for taking time to read!

I felt bad for the old and very young.when they said maditory that meant everyone who can, the old I know but some families could of left ,being stuborn they stayed and risk their life and their kids. Some of the dead bodies might of been bodies hiden after a murder long before katrina and came out because of the flood.

The question wasn't about truth or racism. It was a simple observation. All of you who addressed me as a white person are the racists. Maybe I'm Chinese, or Arabic. Maybe you agree with my observation and don't know how to deal with it so you lash out at me with harsh words. This question was just an experiment for a Psych class. Here's another observation. Most of you who answered this question are idiots. Black and White or whatever the hell else you might be.

It seems like such a waste of time to focus all your time and energy into hatred toward others who are not like you. I watched a show last night about neo-natzis, to 14 year old girls singing about white pride. They are home schooled by their mother and are taught that hitler was good. Thats all they do is go around hating people of diffrent races. Why? What is the purpose? I don't get it.

I just think it's interesting to watch a group of white kids these days. They seem to have adopted black culture and society as their own. Everything from the clothes they wear to the music they listen to and the way they speak. They weren't raised that way, so why the act? What do you think?

I'm tired for school everyday and dont feel like working because I am up so late doing homework everynight. Do this, organize that, blah blah blah. Its so annoying and I dont feel like I'm even learning anything from this stupid busywork. I'd be more rested and happier to go to school without it. Why the hell do teachers give so much of it? I'd prefer not to have any at all, unless its essential like studying or reviewing math. Too bad 99% of homework is useless trash we'll never use...

Were you too poor to buy food? Have housing? Do you think it made you appreciate what you have today? I know I sure do! Everyday, I am thankful that we no longer live in a ghetto neighborhood! Do you guys have an insights on what it's like to be poor? Do you think it's made you a better person to live through it? What are you doing to get yourself out of poverty? Do you think there is more that the government could do, if so what?

And I know inevitably there will be some moron on here that says "get a job" or "stop mooching off welfare". If you don't answer the question, I report you. It's that simple. I don't appreciate close-minded fools giving dumba** answers that have no idea what it's like to be broke as f*ck.
