I'm tired of it all.... I make constant efforts to try to improve things, to try to reach a high star, but things never work out. I just can't swim against the current.
I feel I deserve her, I feel I deserve more, but i'm stuck in reverse.

Should I just give up, stop swimming and let the river drag me down?

In Britain there was a long running TV show in which viewers would get to vote for the 'Greatest Briton in history. Each episode a candiate would be argued for by a well known contempory person. It was a great series and attracted more votes than pop idol. That is surprising for an intellectual show. Se some of significant Britons mentioned below.

I am interested in what an American top ten would look like - whats yours?

So here are some of the key Britons:

(a) Winston Churchill (he was votest Greatest by the public)

(b) William Shakespear

(c) Kingdom Brunel (Britain was the first country in the world to have an industrial revolution and he was the greatest industrial entrepeneur)

(d) Isaac Newton

(e) Charles Darwin

(f) Horatio Nelson - defeated Napoleon at Trafalgar and so stopped him conquering Britain as he had the rest of Europe.

(g) John Lennon

(i) Alan Turing (inventor of the computer)

(j) Alexander Fleming (discovered penicillin)

If you have nothing nice to say - don't say anything at all.... and just because you get two points out of it - doesnt mean the rest of yahoo! wants to read your trash. So why bother doing it in the first place? Is it because you couldn't do it in the REAL world?
