i'm not trying to hate or offend anyone, i'd like to know if you do stuff to celebrate your culture, like take riverdance lessons or play bagpipes and stuff.

Sure! We celebrate St. Patricks day like maniac irishmen! Seriously we honor our heritage with food, it has always been a big part of our family and I share that with my kids. We are actually (if you want to be pc) multicultural and I have quite a collection of recipes from all parts of my family that we use, and I have made sure that my boys know the history of the dish. We are irish, german, dutch, english, italian, and american indian. I have family recipes from all of my great-great grandmothers.
Right now I am learning about irish folklore. Pretty cool stuff!!

Most Caucasian Americans don't have many ties to their original cultures, being the first group to jump in line to erase all traces of their past in the name of conformation...

*Especially* Irish, Italians, and Western Europeans.

I'm just starting to find all the neat stuff in my background: German, Scottish, Cherokee, French, Hebrew, Russian, Portugeuse, possibly some African!

And all this time I'd thought I was Italian. :)
(I was adopted, and not told until much later.)

i'm a exceptionally qualified community speaking instructor of English. i could constantly forget approximately approximately 'spell checker' as that's in accordance with american English and not popular English spelling and grammar. Use in spite of version of English you're maximum tender with, yet be consistent and don't swop approximately in the comparable piece of writing. that's what i propose my scholars to do. To Dorothy - sure, it does be counted!
