After 20 years of marriage my husband told me he would marry me again. ; )

I'm a nurse, so it is when the patient or their family tell me I did a good job. It is even better when they give me an example of what I did that they liked. Even better when they come back to visit, and say thanks,and ask at the desk for me., by name.
One family was aware that I had recognized a potential medical problem and had probably saved the patient's life. I will never forget them, or their kindness.
A friend told me recently that I was a good friend, she is a good person, and I have always valued her opinion. It made me feel so good.

I have a beautiful, good-natured soul. I consider that to be quite a compliment, as I do not take vanity compliments to heart.

That I look like my mom, I'm as good a mother as she was, I have nice hair, a beautiful smile...
My mom and I were best friends so when she died in 2000 at 49 it was really hard on me. :(

A woman stopped me in a restaurant to tell me, "There is something about you... It's like your eyes have wisdom." It was confirmed by my dental hygienist. She said the same thing (almost), "There is something about you. It's like you know something that the rest of the world doesn't know."

I have been told I am very intelligent and I look younger then my age (40). Both wonderful compliments and I appreciated both of them.

Some random girl was walking with her friends by me when I was in my front yard with my friends and she yelled, "Your hot. Yea, you, your hot." I was stoked for a while. (please realize, using the word "stoked" does not make me a Californian or a professional X-Gamer.)
