i mean it is like if you are black you are branded to act a certain way and if you don't they condemn you. I mean my first boyfriend was white/mexican and one of my best friends is asian and i like any nationality, but black girls think i am crazy for that. i chose to act the way i am. black should not be who i am being black is a race. and i know this sound like Dr. phil, but to me i see no color it is all about how someone carries themslves.

I am in a wheelchair & you wouldn't believe the way people treat me!!
When I was pregnant people assumed I would have an abortion or give him up for adoption - people will talk to me like I am a retard - It's hard to get a job & if you are living off the government people will look down on you.....it sucks

I know that there are so many political and social issues in the U.S. Sometimes we all want something one way or the other, and sometimes we feel like the government is taking our rights and freedoms away, even though we live in a highly stable democratic republic country.

But how many of you honestly look at many of the other nations in the world and say to yourselves, "better here, than there"?

If not, then why?

People are always saying how America (or the world in general) is in such a bad condition. (mentioning problems like Iraq War, energy crisis, etc.) But has America ever actually been in a "good" direction and position before? Was there ever a time when America was care-free and peaceful? Isthe quantity of our problems actually increasing, or are we just experiencing different types of problems than we have been for the past few centuries?
