Hi

I am part Cherokee, on my father's side. He was 1/4th.

I cannot go to Carolina to get the tribal paperwork as I did not know him or his ancestrary well enough.

I want to be able to prove to people i am cherokee with paperwork. can you downloand papers on the net?

minorites (black,indians) keep saying that i enslaved them,killed their families,and exc... i personaly wasnt even there,it was a little before my time,so why should i say sorry for something that i didnt even do and didnt even happen to you? it was f'd up,i truely understand that,but hell,my ancestors were killed by lions,murdered for being Christian,and the english tried to kill those who left. i have never asked for an appology for that,so therefore i wont tell you sorry for what happened to your ancestors.

Why has divorce become so accepted in this society when it is clearly detrimental to children. Divorce is not only legal, it has become the norm (more than 50% of American marriages end in divorce). How is it that people can keep gay marriage and adoption illegal saying it harms children when clearly the bigger threat to children is divorce which is legal?

Some of these people are not even overweight. For instance, they'll say they're dying of thirst, so you give them something to drink, but they won't touch it. They'll say they never eat or drink in front of others. Before I just call them "weird", I want to know the cause so that I can be open-minded.

I have noticed that lately on tv they allow cussing and back in my day it was not allowed. My biggest concern is what is being SHOWN on tv. The girls are practically naked on there and dancing like they are having sex. I'm a newly wed, and I don't want my husband seeing those girls, but they are everywhere: commercials, music videos, etc. Who knows how bad it will be when I have a son.

It seems rather simple to me. If teenagers arn't tought about sex and contraceptives by someone, parents or teachers, they will make stupid, uninformed decisions about sex. Teenagers are going to have sex, you can't just tell them "It's bad, don't do it." That's probably the best way to get them TO do it. They'll have unprotected sex, get pregnant, and will be too scared to tell their parents, and so will get an abortion. Without sex education and birth control, you'll always have people having abortions. The people who don't want their children taught about sex but who still think that abortions are evil and wrong seem to be shooting themselves in the foot.
