I was a young adult in the 80's, and I love hearing that music now ( brings back lots of memories). The music of that time is alot better than many give it credit for. Some amazing bands got their start ( or did their best work) in the 80's.

I'm in my late 30s. I don't get "creeped out," but I'll admit that there was a lot of garbage (not Garbage). Way too many synthesizers in new wave and too much no-talent stuff on the pop stations.

Nevertheless, I like a lot from the 80s because (1) I also know of a lot of great acts from the era and (2) it was the music of my high school and college days.

OK. Rockwell creeped me out.

Me, sometimes. I'm not creeped out by the good stuff. There was plenty of excellent, cool music in the 80's, but most of it did not make it to top 40 radio. So if they're going to play all the awful top 40 stuff like "wake me up before you go go", yeah that just makes me want to chuck my cookies, same as it did 20 years ago!
