marks. You might think that this is a stupid question, but just bare with me, k? I thought that quotation marks were to be used around exact words that someone has said. That shows that this is a quote, right? Well, I have noticed that quite a few people ( including myself) are using quotation marks to put emphasis on something, to be sarcastic, or to make a mockery of something. Is this a correct use of quotation marks? Or are quotation marks being misused?
