My neighbour says that you should leave your windows and front door open so that any bolts of lightning that enter your home can find a quick exit. Has anyone else heard of this and do any of you do anyother strange things?

i just read a question that i found unreal. someone was griping because some stadium is selling hamburgers made with krispy kreme donuts for the bun. yea, i agree that is gross and obviously horrible for your health. what got me was that people were saying someone should sue. i have heard of people trying to sue fast food places for selling "bad" food. personally i know i'm carrying extra weight because of crappy food choices, not because mcdonalds makes and sells big macs--they dont force people to eat it afterall. why cant people own up to their own mistakes? dont blame people for selling it, blame yourself for indulging in it too often.

marks. You might think that this is a stupid question, but just bare with me, k? I thought that quotation marks were to be used around exact words that someone has said. That shows that this is a quote, right? Well, I have noticed that quite a few people ( including myself) are using quotation marks to put emphasis on something, to be sarcastic, or to make a mockery of something. Is this a correct use of quotation marks? Or are quotation marks being misused?

in photographs? Because I noticed that I always look different in photos than I do in the mirror. Because in photos my face always looks real chubby, and I look in the mirror, and I'm like, my face is not THAT big. Is this normal? Do you think that you look different in photos? Someone I befriended died and left me $100,000 (net amount). I wish to make the best use of it.
