If we had no contact with each other and we had no dependencies on each other, then MAYBE we could live in peace and harmony.
As long as there are people of different opinions, values, backgrounds, etc., there will be times when peace and harmony are not possible. Think about this... Even in a family where everyone loves everyone else there are times when peace and harmony go out the window.
Conflict can be a good thing because it brings people together for negotiation and understanding. However, every conflict (no matter how small) has casualties. That's just how life is.

Follow the golden rule? Some people like pain and suffering, and the golden rule to them is inflicting the same to the innocent. Peace and Harmony cannot exist on earth unless we surround ourselves with people that are like us. We have formed in groups around the globe, and even still can't get along. So I would say it may be a possiblitiy to achieve peace and harmony when ones soul ascends to the next dimension.

If people would quit pushing their opinions off on everyone, thinking they are the only ones right, it's their way or no way. I'm sick of people thinking they are so much better than anyone else.
Everyone has ideas, everyone has feelings, but not everyone has the brains that God gave a toothpick.
They think with war in mind. They act with war intentions. They are spoiled children that never had the teachings from the elders.
Equality is always spoken of, but never meant. That is for the rich to decide. What a shame.
Oh and since most societies like living off of TV shows, have one person from each country on a deserted island, no weapons beat the tar out of each other, loser goes home, and apologizes for their country.

You are an idealist. That means you are young and believe that peace and harmony in this world is possible. Yes, that would be nice. However the reality is that we are not going to get there. Trust me, before this is over, there will be nuclear war, men harming the earth, famines, pain and heartache. Greed runs the world. As long as man is free to run amok, there is no peace and harmony in his future. He will reap what he sows. However, I appreciate the question. Your heart is in the right place.

It's a great idea, but I doubt if it ever could happen. Even if we started teaching very young children in school to respect each other and each others belongings, the influence from their parents and relatives (who might not have the same beliefs) might negate the planned result.
We will probably never be free of feuds, whether over family & ethnicity, possessions, land or religious beliefs. Unfortunately many people believe their religion should be the only one. If you don't agree with them, you have just become their enemy. With attitudes like that, you're looking at a lost cause.

Yeah, everyone needs to start loving themselves for who they are and accept their own strengths and weaknesses as human.
We need to not judge others, not try to control them, nor interfere in the way they choose to live their lives (unless they are genuinely hurting others).
In other words, we need to live and let live. Accept differences as inherently one of the more beautiful aspects of humanity.

Simple, all we need to do is to get everyone to come together under an understanding that we will all ALWAYS put someone elses needs first. As soon as we get the whole world to do that, we're set.
