So you've landed that big date...

If you really want to know how a man feels about woman(beyond of course that men are chomping at the bit for sex), ask him what kind of relationship he has with his mother. How does he feel about her...if he does not have her on a pedestal, it is very unlikely he will ever view you as the best thing since sliced bread.

A man who is angry at his mother or has unresolved issues is somewhere you just don't want to go. Men who abuse, beat, berate, intimidate woman are not worthy of a relationship, and carry this baggage for life. This also goes for woman too, how they view their fathers. There are exceptions, but studies have shown this is a valid claim.

Our parents are the template's by what we look for in a mate.

I have seen the expression, Happy Hump Day, a lot on the computer. Having recently been told, "...that the work week is typically Monday-Friday so Hump Day is the middle of the week..Wedensday." It's not something that I know about so can someone explain how/where/when/why Hump Day originated? Thank you.

When I am asked are you married or involved with someone? People look at me like I shot there dog when I say no I never been married and I'm not looking for a relationship. Should I lie, or start looking before I get any older? Give me your feed back on this.

Don't get me wrong, I love my nation, but I grow weary of the daily commute, dealing with office politics, putting up with ever increasing municipal taxes, etc. While I'm really tempted to give up on the rat race and try my hand at being more self sufficient in the country, there's always the concern if I will be able to provide well enough for myself and dependents.

my mum seems to think to be a feminist means not wearing a bra and hating men.
feminism to me means being free to make decisions that are not based on being a woman, but based on being a human being. To have choices. To choose to be a housewife or a mother or have a career or have them all. And still have your wonderbra if you want to.
how do you define feminism?

In some cases, in some states, a child of 14 years of age can and will be tried as an adult. What is the basis on the judgment, is age not a factor anymore? If it's believed that he was in the right state of mind to commit the crime, or the right state of mind to make a decision to commit the crime. Then shouldn't 14 year olds be allowed to smoke, marry, have sex, drink, buy cars, get jobs? If they are in the right state of mind to commit a crime and get tried as adults, should 14 year olds not be treated as adults, and given the right to do "adult" stuff? Or we as a society turn a blind eye and deny them to be adults, but when they get tried as adults we agree, that they are in an adult state of mind?

Why is it that as a society we put so much emphasis and love/respect for people that have passed on and not give that emphasis to the people around us that are alive?

I was dating this guy for about 6 months and before we met I used to go to the club every Friday night when I was living in Colorado. But once I moved back to Florida I stopped going to the club because I really don’t like clubs here in Jacksonville and I was pretty burnt out on the whole club scene. So I told him that I really didn’t do clubs. Well every now then (although he knew that I didn’t like going) he still asked me to go. Most of the time we were out in his whip so I went, because I was with him. And I would dance he would get mad because he would think I was trying to get with some other guy….(WHATEVA!!) Well just recently I reunited with a friend of mine from high school she asked me to go to Latin night with her on a Friday at some club called Elixir. Since I was mad at him at the time (we had a huge argument and he called me out my name) I went to get my mind off what was going on. I ended up not having a good time and even hooked up with him after the club. ( I know stupid to go back) So that next weekend was my birthday and my friend called me up again on a Thursday and asked if I wanted to go to the same club we went to Friday night where she could possibly put me down with some one who would help me with my dancing career. I didn’t say no (I LOVE TO DANCE) and went. I told him about both times I went to the club and he still got mad because he said now that I have my friend all I’m going to do is become a club hoe… because I’m going to do when I get mad at him is run to the club…( I hope you are laughing as much as I am right now) My question is if you go to the club to dance (and only to dance) does that make you a hoe?? Just because I choose to go out with my friend does that makes me a hoe now??? I’m not with the fool anymore but I really need to know…And now that I’m single NO I DON’T PLAN ON RUNNING BACK TO THE CLUB…..

I know this is silly because like what the hell can I change by asking stupid questions on the internet, but I will feel better. First of all I hope someone who thinks like this can be helped..... I am my own person... I dont have a grudge on society. I am not sure why everyone thinks that. I have specific problems. I am bisexual and I have never had a problem until I met and fell in love with my girlfriend. I dont have a problem with certian groups of people, I have problems with individuals who like to belittle, harass, and anything else because they dont understand. I am not the type that throws this is peoples faces, I dont go out and broadcast it, not because I am scared, because I am normal. And I am sorry for gays that do. I understand so much, and just wish others would see this too.
