The Ouija board is said to be a sin, according to God:

The truth of the matter is that God views channeling, or consulting spirits or the dead, to be a serious sin. Deuteronomy 18:11-12 says that anyone engaged in these practices is "detestable to God." According Old Testament Law, the Israelites were supposed to stone (execute) anyone who was a medium or a channeler (Leviticus 20:27).

Why does God take such a hard line on things like Ouija Boards - something that many people view as a game? In Isaiah 8:19-20, God says this: "When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? …If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light…" God points out that we need to come to Him for answers.

But how DO we contact Him for answers?

Some website said once i learn to levitate, i'll eventually learn body phase shift which will let me walk through walls and phase into the earth like it was water.... if that was true that would be pretty ******* sweet. I'd be in class and all the sudden I'd be like, BYE. and walk through the wall into another class. then i'd be like "oops, sorry." and walk back.

I grew up in Kerouacs home town. I talked to and worked for some of the bar owners and bartenders who knew him. I used to drink once in a while with Fr. Spike.. So I heard some good and bad stories.
As time goes by his real life story seems to grow larger somehow and gets entangled with his fictional characters. Is this the prossess of an American folktale of an American hero in the making? A fusion of what was and what we want it to have been?

they say that curses are bad and that they have the tendency to return to the person who made them, with double the impact... what if the person that you have cursed has really done something wrong to you? does the first statement still hold true? or is a curse true in the first place?

I'm doing my best to seperate fact from fiction. If anyone knows, I would really like to know information on everything related to it. Thank you all in advance! <3

I am working on a Progressive Metal album with the theme of The Maxim Xul (the seven evil spirits of mesopotamian folklore) and the sixth spirit is described as nothing more then "a terrible shibbu". It would be helpful to write a song about a shibbu if I knew what the hell it was.
