Many years ago, my aunt spent a lot of summers at our home. She had a small dog that was her constant companion. She taught the dog all kinds of tricks and spent a great deal of time with it. One summer, my aunt was gone with friends for a couple of weeks. My mom and I where sitting on opposite ends of the couch, in the evening, watching a TV program. Suddenly, I saw that little dog run down the couch from my mom towards me, it quickly jumped down across my legs and vanished. I looked at my mom just as she looked at me and we both asked at the same time "did you see that?". we both agreed that it was my aunts dog, but of course her dog was at her home 300 miles away. My mom called my aunts house and talked with my grandmother. My mom came back, sat down and told me that my aunts little dog had passed away within an hour of us seeing it at our house. I still think it was looking for my aunt to say goodbye.

I had a friend who rented a house. They moved in and everything seemed fine for a while, until she noticed her young son who was almost 5 at the time, was in his bedroom talking to someone. When she asked him whom he was talking to he told her “The man in the closet”. Well as you can understand this unnerved her and she started keeping a closer eye on him until finally she decided that maybe he had just made up an imagery friend, after all his two younger sisters (one was 2 the other 3) was not seeing or talking to anyone around the house. She thought that maybe he felt left out being the only young boy in the family. Now her husband worked evening shifts at a near by restaurant and would get home around 12 at night tired but still awake he would settle into his favorite chair in front of the Television in the den. Now the bathroom was of to the left of the den and had two doors, one in the den and one in the hall wall leading to the bedrooms. One night after work he came home late and decided to watch a little television before he went to bed but he soon feel asleep in his chair. He woke up a short time later to the sound of what he thought was his wife laughing and he turned to look at her and saw a face peaking out the bathroom door at him. Thinking she was playing a trick on him he got up to see what she was up to, but there was no one there and when he checked on his wife she was sound a sleep in bed. I have a daughter the same age as her son and would come over for play dates a couple times a week and she would tell me these stories. I’m not saying I did not believe her but I never really gave it much thought. I advised her to move if it bothered her that much and just kind of left it at that. Then one evening my family and I was invited for the little boy’s birthday party and while sitting in the living room with my husband, we both witnessed the bedroom door open and close. It was like some one opened it up for a peak or something. The Knob turned, the door opened then closed and the knob clicked back into place. I looked at my husband and asked him did you see that and he said I shore did. I got up to look inside and there was no one there. Every one at the party was in the dinning room eating cake. No One was in the room the window was locked and there was no way to get in there and the wind does not turn doorknobs. My friend moved out not long after this and her aunt bought the house but there have been no more incidents in that home or with her son in any other home. We think that maybe it was drawn to the kids or her little boy. That’s the thing with the paranormal it’s unknown. Right?

When I was around 13 or 14, I went around the corner to a friends house. We were getting ready to go to the pool, and decided we'd get ready together at her house. Anyways, no one was home, except for me and her.
While we were getting our stuff together, we heard a knock at her bedroom window. We thought it was the neighbor boys trying to scare us, so we called there house(to tattle to their mom). Their mother told us the boys were out of town, visiting family and would be back in another week.
Well, we didn't think much of it....We finished packing up our stuff, and were putting on our suits, when we heard someone running through her house, right toward her room. We locked the door to the room, thinking someone came home. We yelled "hello", but got no response, so we finished dressing. We heard footsteps again, so my friend quickly opened her door, but no one was there.
Now we started to panick!!!
We locked the bedroom door, and stood quietly listening. At first, it was quiet, but we soon started hearing a ticking sound. This really freaked us out... I mean, it could've been a bomb!
We made a plan to open the door, and run straight to the front yard, so...we opened the door, and ran. We made it outside, after both of us tripping, and walked to the street curb. We looked at the house, and both of us saw the curtains open, and someone looking out at us. We were really scared now! She left me at the curb, to keep an eye out...and she went to the neighbors to call the police.
The cops came and searched the house, and found nothing.
After they left, we still didn't want to go inside, so we sat at the curb. A few minutes later, her front door slammed shut, and we heard laughing. Needless to say, I never went over there again....we were still friends, but she always came to my house after that!

Yea, I think my current house is haunted. I remember a few years ago when I was in about second grade (i'm in 6th) The basement TV would randomly turn on and off. And it would usually happen right before we went to school in the morning or at night. I always stay up to latest at night, everyone else goes to bed around 10. I like to roam around the house (mainly downstairs) and I noticed that the living room and my room get really hot at night, and the other rooms are completely normal, we have AC and turn it on! I also hear random bumps and noises.
One time last year, I was sleeping and I suddenly woke up at 3 am. I sat up in bed and i just suddenly stared at the corner of the room, like my eyes were drawn there. All of a sudden I saw a small thing (a little smaller then a cat) dash across the corner and dissapear. It was black and had no shape, like one of those shadow people things. I don't no why, since I don't get scared easily and if I do get scared I usually pretend I'm fine, but I got really scared right there and screamed (I have a horror movie-worthy scream) and my parents came running into my room. The next day I thought It was my cat but my mum said that he was sleeping in their room when It happened!
For the next week or two things were kinda weird but not bad. Like I would be walking and a blanket would fall or the couch or the coffe machine would start, nothing big. But Then one day I was swinging in my backyard and I felt a presence behind me. All of a sudden I felt like I was being pushed down, like someone was pushing me on the swing. I turned around and no one was there so I ran inside (I was home alone). Then the next day I was home alone again and swinging. I was staring at the roof when a huge black shadow dashed across it and dissapeared so I ran inside. The next day I went outside and I felt someone pushing me again on the swing.
I also have a ouija board that I use alot. From what I've heard from the board, there's a spirit in my house that is an 8 year old little girl named abby. I've seen her before. I was laying in my bed, trying to fall asleep but I was restless. All of a sudden I hear a little crinkle to my left side, like someone was stepping on a candy rapper. I turned around and no one was there. This happens often so I was like 'what ever' and I started to turn around when I saw a girl hovering over the right side of my bed. she was a blueish whitish color and had long knotty hair down to her butt. She looked about 4 foot, maybe a little smaller, and had her hands over me. I stared at her for a few seconds and she disapeared. I also hear people whispering stuff sometimes to my left when I'm laying in my bed. I think that's Abby.
I don't no if Abby's a bad spirit, but i don't think she's very good. But sometimes good stuff happens in my house, like that presence pushing me on the swing. I think that's my grandpa that died when I was a few months old. My parents always told me that he was obsessed with me and I think he hangs out here. I recently talked to him with my Ouija board and got proof that he did.
The thing is, my parents had this house built about 15 years ago, so Abby must be really old....and she's probably the only spirit in my house besides my grandpa...that's all I can think of at the moment.

The last apartment me and my mom lived in was haunted... and what ever it was liked to scare us
The first thing that started happening was my moms TV turned on and off by itself all the time, well we thought oh its cause its old, so we went out and bought her a brand new one for Christmas and it did the same thing!
after that my mom would wake up to smells in her room, like someone knocked over a perfume bottle, another time she woke up to bright lights .. Thinking there was a fire truck out side she got up to look only to find NOTHING! later on she started having the worst dreams, I would wake up to go to the bathroom and find her sleeping with her light on, eventually she just never turned her light off. Also a few times she felt something get in the bed with her.
What happened to me?
First incident I had was at 6:00am my alarm clock went off for me to get up and get ready for work; I got up and set it for another half hour, went back to my bed to lie down and was startled by a huge thud at the foot of my bed. So needless to say I got up and got ready for work, the whole way to work I tried to come up with logical explanations... I settled with I must have been half asleep, anyways about a month later my then boyfriend started sleeping over and one morning around the same time my clock goes off we are laying in bed talking and the same thing happens only this time it was harder like someone kicked the bed... this time I had a witness and we were both just shocked!
Eventually while just sitting around the house... people would get overwhelming feelings of fear for no reason, the hairs on the back of your neck would stand up ... AND nooo way would I turn around to see if anything was there, My friends felt it, my family.
Anyways we moved out shortly after and I often get urges to go knock on that person’s door just to see if anything strange has happened to them.
