I agree with the previous answer -- if you know of anyone who could use them, pass them along to be used. If you don't want to do this or don't know of anyone to give them to, and if they are of natural material, they can be disposed of by returning them to the earth either by burial or compost, or other such method. I like the decoration idea too -- some items can make beautiful pieces set around the house or garden. And if you cleanse them and bless them for a different purpose -- say for protection or attracting fairies or something similar, they'll serve a dual purpose; they'll be attractive AND useful (for other than their original purpose). It's what I do. Hope that idea helps.

My brother once lived in a home that was 'haunted', or whatever you want to call it. There was a horrible feeling about the place, and a terrible stench of rotting fleash that 'moved' around the house. If you stepped into it, you wanted to throw-up and cry. He 'smugged' the house several times to try and clean out the space, and remove any negative energy. This one was a nasty one, and still- most likey never left. It seemed to work for the whole house, but one room. The laundry room became this really scary and uncomfortable room- so you avoided it- always! You could try this method, it worked enough for him- long enough while he lived there. Aside from the laundry room. I think that you use a type of sweet grass, something that you would get at a natural store. Like an indian grass. You could most likely look it up online.

I agree with Kallan, don't throw anything into our waters. That was fine in the days of old - there wasn't 9 billion people on the earth back then!
I suggest giving them to others, or burning them. It will release the energy in the object and send it to the gods/goddesses. Any ashes can be buried, scattered, etc.
If they are not burnable or biodegradable, wash them in water to release the energy or bury them or a day. You can then take the material to be recycled as the energy has been released.

If they are unused, perhaps you could sell them on ebay or in a local witchy shop on consignment. Otherwise, if you have friends who practice the craft, perhaps ask them if they are interested in them.
Whatever you do, please don't throw them in a river or lake or the ocean.. that just pollutes the planet, and is not the way of the witch.
I hope that helps.
Many blessings on your path,
K

No doubt these have been charged with your energy and intent, so you need to ground them. You can do this by simply burying them in the ground over night or by burying them in salt. Salt is most effective.
Then, you can give them away or even sell them if someone is willing to buy them.

If they are burnable....then elliminate them with fire. Or go out into the country and find a quiet isolated spot and ceremoniously bury them.

If you can't or won't give them away, burn them. If they will biodegrade, bury them. If you can't burn or bury them, dispose of them in the swiftest running water you can find.
I live on the Niagara river, so, well, no problem there for me!

you could cleanse them and pass them onto any pagan friends who might use them, or how about using them decoratively around your home. I have a wand and besom on my wall and both get admired loads.

I would assume that you would get rid of them the same way you would any rubbish. Just because a fanciful few determine these objects to be concerned with witchcraft, doesn't mean it should acclude your logical thinking.
