What was the scariest sound you have ever heard???

I live in an 3 floor appartment and i'm in the 1st floor. The two other floors are empty (no tenants). 4 years ago me and my family started to hear strange sounds, that were coming from the 2nd floor above us,like very hard slams,footstep and heavy things moving,although the 2 floors were totally empty!EMPTY!!! The sounds were so scary!The first time we heard footsteps,we called police but when my father and the police officer went to the 2nd floor (above us),there was nothing!!I'm sure it was a ghost!

how do i understand....?

i am not stupid, its just sometimes things dont make sense to me at all. for an instance i am trying to understand somethings about the occult. one thing that i'm having trouble understanding is how numbers relate to words. i am trying to read Hulses' The Key To It All and i barely understood the introduction. if anyone can help or atleast tell me how they figure something out when it dosent make sense to them, especially when you read it.

Doesn't the Word say to "try the spirits" and see what they say?

Many read Isaiah 8:19, "shouldn't we go from the living to the dead", and say NO. But they need to read verse 20 too. "If they do not speak according to this Word, there is no Light in them!"
Which is just like the New Testament 1 John 4:1-3. "Believe NOT every spirit. But try the spirits to see if they are of God. If they say Christ came in the flesh, the are of God. But if they say Christ did not come in the flesh, they are antichrist!"

Do you realize some spirits lie to us for Good reasons?

We have been overdosed with the negative. Being told everything spiritual is evil. And fear can actually cause us to end up in a negative reality.
So many spirits concentrate on being positive. Telling us everything will be okay, to ease our fears. But don't take that to extremes. Concentrating on the positive doesn't mean that negative realities don't exist.

I collect skulls of all sorts, real ones, fake ones etc. I have approx 200 but this freaks some people out, why are people so repressed about death?

I just broke a full length mirror, I'm very superstitious, what can I do to lessen my bad luck?

My full length mirror just fell over and broke. (It was just a cheap mirror from Kmart or something, so I'm not even sure it's real glass or just plastic, but I'm still a little nervous).

It fell when I was trying to get a suitcase full of duffel bags for my vacation (I leave for a weekend in VA Beach on Friday), so I feel like this is a really bad sign.

According to my "Cross Your Fingers, Spit In Your Hat" book of superstitions, I should have waited 7 hrs to remove the pieces, (but I already did because it was in my doorway and I have dogs that I didn't want to step on the pieces). Does 7 hrs until they leave the PROPERTY count? Or just 7 hrs from where it fell? (Trash day is on Wednesday).

***Please don't make fun of me for being superstitious... In my experiences, I've realized I really am VERY prone to bad luck and stuff, which has kinda made me a believer... And better safe than sorry!!***

Any other superstitious people out there? What can I do to bring back some good luck??

Is anyone out there annoyed by people with psychic powers? What can be done about these annoying psychic jerks

My neighbors psychic and he's alway levitating my stuff to screw with me or reading my mind and when my girlfreind shows up saying things liike "you want to know what he REALLY thinks of that dress".
And on and on.
