A concerted study regarding the modern age of the UFO/ET phenomena will help you gain a historical context for whether we are being visited by space-faring extraterrestrial intelligence[s]. Moreover, the historical accounts and the Roman Catholic church's position concerning the ET phenomena is being broached under the maxim "The Fingerprints of God." Monsignor Corrado Balducci is heading up the church's position for eventual disclosure. Also, the French and the Brazilians have now opened some of their most controversial files surrounding the UFO/ET enigma.

The gentleman almikejuno is 100% correct in his assertion that one of Eisenhower's NSC staff advisers has given testimonies regarding extraterrestrial contact with elements of our government. I can corroborate this because I put Dr, Michael Salla (www.exopolitics.org) in touch with Dr. Ted Loder (professor at the University of New Hampshire) whose cousin is Brigadier General Stephen Lovekin. Dr. Salla had called General Lovekin and asked him about his knowledge concerning the February 20,1954 Muroc Air Force Base meeting with extraterrestrials. Lovekin's reply was: "I don't know about that meeting. But, I can tell you about the 1958 meeting with extraterrestrials"; If in fact this is what almikejuno is referring about. In my opinion, indeed we are being visited by extraterrestrials!

Hmmm, I'm actually not sure. I do work with a research center that goes about investigating such reports. It's very interesting. I suppose in a way, we can't say for sure that there is no such thing as Aliens. I've never seen one but I do know people who claim they did or have. Some of the details are very clear and I would think couldn't have been just imagined or made up.

I have never had an "alien experience" but this may help; I'm a UFO researcher /lecturer with strong pro-UFO leanings. Some of my colleagues are "experiencers", in one case husband-wife experiencers at the same time. I also sat down personally with Pres. Eisenhower's nat'l. security aide in Dec. 1997(TWELVE security clearances for this man!) and listened intently to HIS incredible alien encounter in 1958 ; and a former astronaut has told me of HIS experiences with beings ( two unnerving events he's told me of so far) and he's also told me of other astronauts, some more famous, who "know", though some of those same guys are lately acting very conscious that they have a big fat gov't. pension to "protect". Check out "CE-5", an amazing "encounter" book by Dr. Richard Haines, now a retired Senior Scientist for NASA, and you'l get all the answers you need, trust me.

I'd have to say probably. Is human life really that unique? I mean there's billions of stars and galaxies out there, you gotta think a couple others turned out like earth.

Most definitely, but the real issue is whether they would have the ability to visit us. We certainly could not visit them in another solar system.

How egotistical would it be to believe,in all the vastness of the universe,no other intelligent life has formed?

I'm still not convinced either way. I think if they do exist that the government would hide it from us.
I have never seen one and coming from Missouri you would have to "show me" first for me to really believe.
