Does anyone know of a collection of Australian Myths and Legends, not a book about them, a collection of them.

Having done a paper on the phenomena several years ago, I thought I would bring this to the community of Yahoo Answers. Here are a few facts. Lovecrafts books are constantly being razored and deposited into Library trash cans, Checked out and never returned (sometimes even paid for by a siingle person again and again,) or just disappear from the shelves. When caught some people proudly say they are doing God's work. Others just begin screaming Bible verses at the Librarian.
Before someone asks.....it can take a Library up to 4 months to get a book replaced, they can't just go out and buy a new copy, all books being added to collections must be approved by some kind of committee. Therefore even those who pay for their theft keep the books of Lovecraft off the shelves.
I must say that this practice is much more prevalent in the so-called "Bible Belt" of the U.S.A.

In my dream I am at my school's baseball game. I am on the field with a short white skirt on and one of the baseball players comes up to me. We are talking and saying stuff like "if you do this, I'll do that" anyway, he snaps my skirt (know what I mean?) and my underwear gets exposed like he did it to see. I had on a red thong and black knee high hosers. My mom is right there behind us and when I see that she saw what was happening I get sort of embarressed (more like don't want my mom to see that or else I liked it) and tell him that my mom is there and he can't do that.



In real life, he plays baseball but we don't know eachother. I just see him stare at me sometimes.

When ever my sister and I watched a werewolf movie, it was either o.k or bad. There are a couple of werewolf movies I like, and the rest are kinda lame. (movies seen- Werewolf in Paris, Werewolf in London, Van Helsing, Wolfman collection (4 movies in one), Teenwolf, Cursed, Underworld, Mystery science theater 3000:Werewolf, and Teenage Werewolf) There were some I can't find. Got any more suggestions on movies? List them!

For some reason, when I read my sisters folklore or stories about them. We can enjoy them more. (German folklore, Russian folklore, Middle ages legends and folklore.) Got any more suggestions on books and folklore? List them!

Overall, I wonder what versions of werewolves do others like. The one in the movies or the one in the folklore and novels?


Addtional Question:
Why on earth do they add sex and nudity in some of the werewolf movie? It get's kinda annoying, and it seems to stop the story if there is one. -.-

In Genesis how the earth when it was created had "The waters above and the water below". This suggests that the earth at one time was surrounded by a protective sphere of water placing it inside a tarrarium like hiperbaric chamber.

This would account for fossilized evidence of sealife as well as vegetation at the highests regions of earth
Could this also account for the reason why biblically people lived for well over 500 years prior to the flood and lifespans drastically decreased immediatly post-flood as there was no longer a protective shield from the suns crippling effects. Would this excess weight of water account for the tectonic plate seperation

There are also accounts of beings of advanced intillect perpetrated by fallen angels in various works from that time. See (Al Azif)(The book of Enoch) (Genesis)(Nephilim). There is archological evidence as well of their existence and says that they were destroyed in the great flood by God or the great one...Thoughts?

Here's a hard one for you...

I took a trip to Florida on a plane (from Wisconsin) and when I got there, I walked into a bank. I was asking the banker about a loan. Then, I looked out the window to see a beautiful red cardinal bird perched on something and peeking his head into a pipe of some sort. Then, two really HUGE cardinals started attacking the normal sized cardinal and got his beak locked into between theirs and they flew away with him still trapped. I got the sense that the two big cardinals were going to fly away and kill the normal sized cardinal.

What does this dream mean?

In my dream, I step off a ledge and my foot lands next to a snake I didn't notice earlier. It stirs and I'm frightened so I try to get away from it, but I cant seem to move fast enough. The snake catches up with me, and bits my calf, but it has no teeth and it doesnt hurt when I'm bitten. I keep moving away, and when I turn to look at it, it seems to have devoured my foot. I panick, but pull my foot out from its mouth easily. I'm not afraid anymore, and the snake seems harmless without its bite. And it's eyes don't seem menacing. It looks at me, as it was playing. I finally get up and go off, it tries to catch up but doesn't manage to. I woke up with the image of the snake on my mind.

My friend has got me into spell candle things...and i just been told that my aunt does spells and i think thats pretty cool. I really want to learn how to do spells and all...my friend said she would teach me sometime, but she told me I have to know the meaning of candles...it would help anyways. Share with me what works the best for you? I have been practicing for about a year and I really have only accomplished candle magic. Meditating is really hard for me, Its hard for me to get my mind completely clear unless I am taking a hot bath or I am lying in bed.

So what works best for you? what do you prefer?
