Last night, my son (20 years old), and a few of his friends were over. They were talking about going to the store and buying one. And I told them they were not allowed to bring it in the house. They asked me why, and that turned into an hour long conversation. A long time ago, we had a board, and we were using it, and I asked a question that only I... and I do mean that only I knew the answer to. And it worked, and it did for others around the table as well. I got paranoid, and that night I just wanted to get rid of the board. I wanted it out of the house haha.. I didn't want to throw it away for fear it would be a bad omen.. well I knew we were moving soon to another place, so I just put it in a closet, and when we moved, I left it there.. thinking "whew" Is there anybody else out there who has had an ouija board really work?? and if not spirits, what else could have made that thing move?

I have sometimes seen places that seemed "normal", but somehow they just rubbed me the wrong way for no known reason. For example, once when my mother and I were riding in the car in a rural area, we saw an old white farm house. My mom talked about how much she liked it, and though I normally like old houses, too, I thought that there was a somewhat sinister feel about it. Also, I got the same feel when I saw an episode of "This Old House". It was a typical old house in New England, but for some reason, it kind of gave me the willies.

Okay so when I was 3 I saw ghosts. I lost the sight slowly in between my parents divorce and starting first grade (I was and am bullied profoundly) So I've started seeing again, Only one, a girl who asks me to call her Agnes or Angs (The latter she prefers). She lived on a property by my house (across the street frommy school) and said her father worked a factory few blocks away (Turns out there was one) How could I find her records of something, she has said one time she was murdered and the second that she died in a fire (she said she was 6 so she probably doesn't know about arson so I'm guessing that is what it was). She said she died in 1896, How do I look her up?

The other day, Algebrand and I were bemoaning the fact that we were both decidedly middle aged-and grumpy to boot!. I said to Algebrand: 'there is nothing we can do about it so you might as well accept the fact (case closed, I thought).

'Actually you are wrong', Algebrand said, (with a feverish mad-scientist look in his goaty eyes), 'I was looking through the 'Boys Own' annual from 1936, and I think I have found a recipe for eternal life'. With little more ado (accept for a hop and a jump) Algebrand proceeded to ladle out a spoonful of the foul and miasmic brew that he had been boiling on the kitchen hob.

Before I had a chance to remonstrate with him, Algebrand had swallowed the lot. 'That was good', Algebrand said, before turning green and scaly. 'How do I look', said Alge? 'Like a prince in waiting', I replied. 'Ribbit', said Alge, 'ribbit...ribbit...

I just saw this on an episode of Xena, and who knows how accurate that is? :) She was talking to Hades and he told her that he only took the dead Greeks. I found that interesting. Has anyone studying Greek Mythology ever heard that one?? I thought most other god stories included everyone, not just regional people.
