"Loch" is the scottish word for lake, and the deepest part of loch ness is where "nessie", as the monster is called, is said to be, the deepest part is said to be miles deep and eyewitnesses say it is on the surface over the deep part that they see the monster most of the time, but to date, no HARD evidence has been submitted to prove it actually exits, only photos and some film footage, but nothing you can identify.some scientists believe that it is an extinct form of water reptile dinosaur known as a plesiosaur, others say it is a giant fresh water eel.
