Yes the person that tried that in the answers above was knocked on his rear by a electrical discharge. It is on one of the stronger ley lines that crisscross the world .usually following a Chrystal seam.. or one of the magnetic lines that are supposed to flow from the north to south pole and the lines that flow from east to west . whenever or where ever they Cross there is supposed to be a magical nexus of differing strenghs.

It was built on a magnetic anomoly that was much stronger at the time of consruction. Dowsing rods still react at the site. The stones do have allignment to dividide the year into quarters.
