Why it seems that the Year of the golden Pig is more important than the others? Like for example, 2002 was the year of the golden Horse but I didn't hear much commotion about it. Also why are those the "Golden" years?

Do they ever catch cold? Do they get cancer? What about the plague, or acne, or dandruff? Or stomach ache even? What's the worst a goblin can expect to catch?

It doesn't matter where the person goes, whether another house or even in the car, they are still visited by the entity.

I was watching a documentary that was part of the extras on the director's cut of Underworld. They had one scholar they were interviewing who said that St Patrick didn't drive out snakes since they were really werewolves, thus the predominance of the lore in that area. That was the first time I had ever heard that. I had heard before many places that the snakes were actually Pagans, but never werewolves. Was he pulling this out of thin air or is there fact to it at all?

We moved into this house three years ago. We have had so much trouble with electricity (even though the power box and outlets are all fine) and we have had countless other problems (i.e. leaks, things going missing etc). I sometimes get suddenly cold, even when the heating is on. The other morning, around half one, I smelt burning plastic. My friend told me this means there is a malevolent spirit or a demon in the house. Please Help!

In a kingdom somewhere in asia, there was a sultan who had a son as heir to his throne. The handsome prince fell in love with an ordinary girl. Of course the sultan was furious about it. So he gave a test to the girl. He said that if she can cook 12 kinds of dishes from a single "pipit" (a really small local bird), he will let her marry the prince. But if not, she will die...Can you finish the story?

They seem stereotyped and soulless in modern culture.

They are beautiful creature and combine power with grace and dignity rarely seen in mythical animals (ex:the arrogant nature of dragons and vampires).

And most importantly they are a perfect metaphor for self sacrifice, endurance of hope and a man's legacy.
