It seems like every time I hear about a ghost story or demon story, the beings always speek in Latin. Or magical spells are always written in Latin. I thought Latin was a dead language. Oh wait, I think I just answred my own question. But anyway, is there some significance between demons and the Latin language?

How can you be 100% certain someone is lying and didn't actually see/experience what they say they did just because you don't believe it to be possible and tell them they belong in a padded cell?

When I was on my trip in Tokyo, i saw a girl, who came up in my dream 2 months ago.

She came to my dream as a friend playing around with me, speaking English to me, but when i tried to say hello to her, obviously, she can't speak English.

Why is that? Is it a hint or what? Can we see the future?

I am doing an essay for a class I am taking and the assignment is to analyze a song that has references to a specific myth, legend, folktale, fairy tale, etc. An example of this would be the Crane Wife by The Decemberists, but that was the example given to us so obviously I can't use that. Does anyone know of any songs out there that give reference to a specific story?

There have been many stories from history that have ended in a 'perfect type' of way. For example take 'The Little Sea Maid' (also known as 'The Little Mermaid') from Hans Christian Anderson. At the end of the story when she is unable to kill her love she throws herself from the ship ready to die but instead is 'saved' from death by children of the air. OR 'Le Belle te le Bete' (I believe it is, my French is very rusty. Also known as 'Beauty and the Beast') from Jeanne-Marie Leprince De Beaumont where the primary female character eventually finds a way to love the beast.

But the real world is not like this, and if presented with a real world example we are in the most part unable to accept it, it is to perfect in a way.

So my question is, if we like these fairy tales and hold them as an example for what can be why do we not strive to achieve it? AND Why do we resist it, and try to change it to what we are comfortable with?

Serious answers only.
Please explain your answers.

I have read and heard countless experiences about them and not a single one has ever once been positive. Even though there are people who claim such. If anyone believes that there are truly good experiences, can you elaborate on why you feel that way and what happened to you in that instance?
