The Bermuda triangle is a triangular section of the Atlantic Ocean also known as The Devils Triangle and Satans Triangle. This area of the Atlantic Ocean became famous due to the number of ships and aircrafts that have reportdley dissappered forever after entering the Triangle. Many theories have tried to explain the Bermuda Triangle, from accounts of human error to it being an area of paranormal activity :)
There are no hard facts so why did things dissappear??? all depends what you choose to believe :)
Best wishes

Maybe it's as simple as this. The Earth is huge and vast. As we humans became adept at traveling every square mile of this planet some where a place or area will have to accumulate a higher number of events. And that place currently is the Bermuda triangle. It also stands to reason that this place would have to be some where remote (you couldn't keep losing things near say, Chicago) and with some type of obstacle to hamper any searches that take place (like 50 feet or so of water).

My favourite explanation is pockets of natural gas breaking through the surface of the sea bed.
These rise up under boats, which loose their buoyancy when the water below them is replaced with gas and drop below the surface just as the gas breaks through and the bubble collapses, submerging the boat.
I have experienced a similar effect in the bath, when I farted and sank my rubber duck (seriously). He came back up to the surface because he is air-tight, but a submerged boat is not.
The bubbles of natural gas once in the air could be ignited by the engines of an aeroplane and explode, knocking the plane out of the sky.
when the boat or plane comes to rest on the bottom of the sea, the sediment which was disturbed by the gas being released could re-settle on top and leave no trace of it.
I have no proof that this is what actually happens, but it is a neat, plausible explanation.

The Bermuda Triangle is an area of air & sea out near Bermuda.
The weather is believed to be the logical explaination to the happenings out there due to odd air pressure/sudden high waves/etc...

It is a triangle of water and it is believed to be cursed from a dead ship captain. Mostly ships disappear and when people look for the things that went missing, they are usually not found.

actually - there hasn't been any more things disappear there on average than anywhere else in the world. It's just famous because it's a popular shipping lane. Lots of pirate routes etc. It's a warm climate so this fog comes up alot, people disappear from radar etc.
Lots of popular websites concerning it.

i love this question!
i think the bermuda triangle is a bloke who lives next door.whenever i lend him something,i never see it again!
on a serious note though.....there is supposed to be a magnetic field there and it wasnt just ships and the crew that went missing, planes that flew over it were also supposed to have vanished too.
i watched a documentary on the discovery channel about it but,i cant remember the full explanation.

It's a cousin of the Lock Ness monster. That is, it doesn't exist, it's a myth.
