I was told that people will grow to be either 5' 11" or 6' 1", but never exactly 6'. Is this true, or just a myth?

Like I said I am writing a anime about werewolves. Knowing about them myself is cool but I want you, the fan's to give me your opinon. Stuff like what body build do they have (size, mass, length), do they answer to a master or act themselves, do they show remourse for those they've killed, and do their coats match their hair?, And how do they fight...
