It depends on what your asking for. If you're asking for an email, or a chance of getting an email, there's a chance. If you're asking for help on a quiz, I'd study anyway. If you're praying for a hundred dollars, you'd have more chance robbing a bank.

No. I used to be a christian, not by choice. My parents made me. When I was around 17 or 18, I decided that enough was enough. God doesn't exist, he never did. Jesus was just some plain old guy, and I was pretending to believe in something that I wasn't even accepted in. I am gay, and gays are supposedly works of the devil in the bible. I knew that I wasn't evil. When I was little, I used to pray for things, and I never got them, and then I started wondering if this "god" character actually exists. When I found out that gays weren't liked, then I knew that I had to stop being a part of this religion. Now, gays aren't allowed to marry because of the bible. Why is our government being run by this religion? Are we not free to have any religion that we want? I'm an atheist, and gays are accepted as normal people in atheism. What happened to freedom of religion? I hope that the next president elected is an atheist so that he (or she) can give total freedom and rights to everyone, not just the christians.

Yes He does. It may not be when you ask for it or in the EXACT way that you asked Him 4 it but it does happen. Do you beleive in God? Are you Christian? If yes to both then pray, pray and pray more. He will see and respond. But BEWARE- He may give you what He WANTS YOU 2 have more than what YOU want , and it will still be on His timeline- when He thinks that you are ready! Ask a pastor or soemone in your Church.
As far as it happening to me- well I have prayed for love, marriage, new car, house, etc. I have not yet received this- but I still have faith that He will give it all to me when I am READY for it. I have a bad back- I was in prayer group and we all prayed over me- the next day I was WORSE!!- BUT- the day after that, I was pain free. No more drugs or chiropractors- no doctors. I am not saying that I was healed, but I was definately assisted by His Hand. Read the Bible- you will get a wealth of information there-

So far He has given me what I ask for and believe me I wish I would think alittle harder before i ask him when I'm in a snot-nosed attitude. He operates very slowly most of the time to develop our patients,But He can move rather fast if the situation calls for it.I've seen His power at work all my life so I can't really narrow down to any one thing because He is very active in my everyday life.Well,One of the endless amount of times He has help me:Was when I was 17 and it was right around Christmas and I got a model car from my Dad.Well out of the blue a friend dropped by with his sisters car,a 4 Dr. '78 Ford 500 nothing really special and he wanted to take me for a ride in it.To this day I still don't know why,But I thought well maybe I could use some model glue from the store. We lived in the country 1 mile from a little store so he took me there and I got my glue.On the way back to the house there was a 50 mile an hour corner and we were doing about 70.I told him that we probably should slow down a little cause it was sharper than it looked.Well my friend always tried to impress people into thinking he was crazy and he decided to floor it,well we hit that corner at about 110-115 mph. and we made the corner but we were in the wrong lane and there was a car coming down the road about a mile up.Well I knew he must not of seen it and I didn't want to put him in a panic so I mustered up as much courage as I could and calmly said"Mike,Ah there is a car coming down the road do you think maybe we ought to get into our own lane." Well that didn't work he cranked the steering wheel and slammed on the brakes.I don't think anybody could have done any worse. So now were sliding down this road sideways at about 100mph. we hit a ditch with the back end and then caught a driveway that flipped us spinning back the other way.During the process which seemed like a slow-motion picture I saw the front windshield shatter as an object hurled through and twords my friends head.I couldn't believe my eyes I could see these little fragments of glass flying at me and all around me but i couldn't feel anything hitting me.Then I got to thinking that at least my eyes were functioning and if there was glass in them the doctors could fix them so I decided to close my eyes. And with a feeling my friend was dead i for the sake of it told him "Mike,Close your eyes."Well sometime while we were bouncing around in that ditch i got thrown in the backseat. When the car stopped which seemed like forever.I didn't hear a peep from my friend so I started looking on the seat and floor in the back for glass and I didn't see any at all.So I figured it must of stayed up front.Well then my friend kind of groggily asks me "what are you looking for?" And I didn't look at him cause I was sure he got nailed by that mailbox and I told him,"The glass,Didn't you see the glass?"And he told me yeah, but I don't see anything now. We spent at least 30min. looking around for something to expain the glass we both saw and we didn't find so much as a broken blinker to expain it.Oh and while I was in the backseat looking at the floor cause you know he could have had half his head smeard off,I asked him,"Mike how do you feel?" And he awsered really roughly "Okay,But my neck is a little stiff" And we spent another 30 min. looking for the mailbox that got sheared off a 4x4 post that it sat on and could not find so much as the door.Well that is just one of countless things I have lived with.Take Care and May God Bless You. P.S. I know I got alittle away from the question.Sorry

Not now... I mean I need to see a woman... which I believe is the counter part to a man. IE> the closest to god I could ever expect to get would be thru the love of a woman,,,, and that is what I believe.
I believe in MAN prior to believing in GOD

No. God gives you what you are (for lack of a better word) entitled to. If you have asked for something and you happened to receive it, that's because you did something 'right' to receive it. If you asked for something and did NOT receive it, that doesn't mean that you didn't deserve it, it just means that you wern't meant to have it.
We can't always get what we want, be we get what we need.

No God does not give you what you ask for.
God may give you strength to work for what you want though.

yes he does. it may not be when you want it but when he feels that you are ready for it. one example we needed a new house and for 14 years i prayed for a new house - i got my new house last year after hurricane rita. i think he was also trying to teach me patience because i am a very impatient person.
