Everytime I tell some one that me or my friends practice psionics, they freak and most won't talk to us again. We used to get death threats before we stopped telling people. Why does everyone think that we are the Devil?

It doesn't scare me. I'm quite confident that you can't get results that are any better than random chance in any case. :-)

Because they don't understand it. Humans are very stupid creatures. If they don't understand something, or if it goes against or is different from their sheltered little upbringing, they have to make it look bad, and they'll do the same thing if they're jealous.
