Turns out that intelligence and common sense are a constant on this planet. The population keeps growing.

It's not that it isn't common, it's that people ignore it.
I mean, isn't common sense that you shuldn't do drugs seeing as how they can kill you or screw up your life? Or that you can become a murderer by driving drunk?
Isn't it common sense that you don't leave my 3 year old cousin and her 7 year old brother in a crack house, surrounded by passed out drunks and broken glass!?!
People know these things, they just chose to ignore them because it gets in the way of what they want to do.

That's a good question. I think most people "have" common sense, they just forget things momentarily when life distracts them!
I mean, you know, deep down, not to touch a hot stove. But common sense just flies away for an instant and you burn yourself. It's like that; the brain goes dead for a moment.

I think common sense means we all have common feelings, people that don't react in the common way have complicated things, for a myriad of reasons

People act before thinking. People act without considering the ramifications of their actions. Common sense does not seem to be so common, does it?

school`s do not teach common sense,no matter how long a person goes,common sense is a gift,either, one has it or they don`t. And it is becoming more rare with each passing generation.

Too many people have clouded judgement due to drugs and alcohol abuse this day and age,and then there are those who are just plain stupid!
