For parents with non-english native language, what is the best way to teach/speak to their children so they can speak english well and yet still able to converse in their native language?
Should the parents speak both language?
What if one of the parent speak in English and the other speak in native language?
Or should the parents just speak in native language and the child will learn English from friends, school, and TV?

Since the British and the Americans both speak English, one would think they would use the same sign language, right?

I've noticed that there are some students who use the languages section of Y!A as a means of getting answers to their homework questions, so they won't have to do the work themselves. Unfortunately, there are also some answerers who are more than happy to do their work for them. Why? I know that everyone here enjoys getting points, but don't the answerers realize that they aren't doing the questioners any favors by doing their homework for them? After all, the only way the questioners are going to learn their target language is if they actually do the work themselves.

In the verb tense passé composé when do you add the -s at the end of the verb? I know it is for plural subjects but is vous (for example) plural or not? Would it be right to say Vous etes parles?

Thank you. If you have any tips or trick on how to study french verbs quickly it would be appreciated!
