I've read that it's either "I did it!" or "Hooray!"-- are there two meanings?

I did use a search engine, but I found varying definitions.

There was an evil wizard, who went from house to house dressed as a beggar. He would ask for money and try to steal the prettiest girls. One day he went to a house and a beautiful girl opened the door. The wizard hypnotized the girl, put her into a bag and took her to his house. After a few days the wizard told her he had to go on a journey. He gave her an egg and said to take good care of it and keys to every room. He said she could go into all the roomed except on. When she got to the prohibited chamber she entered the room. She was frightened and ran away from the room. She dropped her egg, and when she picked it up she noticed it was pink. She tried to clean the egg, but it stayed pink.

The wizard came back and noticed the egg turned pink, and became very furious. He took her to the prohibited chamber and left her with the rest of the girls. The wizard went back to the girl’s house and kidnapped her younger sister. When the wizard gave her the keys and egg, she put the egg into the cupboard. Then she went to the prohibited chamber. She too saw the girls, and she recognized her sister. She heard the wizard coming, so she left the room and took the egg out of the cupboard. The wizard told her he would marry her because she resisted curiosity. She said before she would marry him she needed to take a basket of gifts to her parents. She ran the forbidden chamber and woke up the girls, and put her sister in a bag and took her home. When she got back to the wizard’s house, she hid. And when he went looking for her, she locked him in his house and he could not get out. That was the end of the evil wizard.

The word come from Democritus' saying: ετεη δε ατομα και κανον. English translation is: In reality atoms and void.

I want to know the root form of ἑτεῆ . Any suggestion will be appreciated. My confussion comes from the observation that Democritus uses two words to refer to truth or reality, one is ἑτεῆ , another is ἀλέθεια. It seems to me that the difference between these two terms are essential for us to understand his doctrine of truth.

Hi everybody!

I asked this question a few hours ago and got some good and informative answers, but as it seems to me, that I wasn´t able to point out what I REALLY wanted to know and as i "closed" my question (i´m already new on this site), i have to try it again:

I want to find a word or a phrase that stands for something like: "come on! let´s solve this problem!" or "we will do this!", "we will go for that!"

so to symbolize a more "active" approach to problems and solutions.

is "tackle" the right phrase to "transport" this attitude? or is there something that might fit better?

i need it for a presentation in english to "motivate" ;-)

many thanks in advance,
TOM!
