First off, I'm wondering how the rest of your family speaks Spanish, and you never learned. . .
Regardless, from what I've heard, Rosetta Stone is a great language program. The demo wasn't bad. It's quite pricey, but many libraries carry it.
This may be a bit outlandish, but going to a Spanish-speaking country and immersing yourself in the language is a quick way to learn. Of course, a few weeks in a foreign country is, as I said, a bit outlandish.
Spanish is a simple language, listen to your family. . . I know you said not to say this, but maybe if you spilled the beans to ONE of your family members, they could help you out. Really, they won't be ashamed, they will most likely be proud that you are taking an interest in your native language. Be brave, better to start now than later. Not to mention, you're at the point where losing your accent is nearing impossible.
Buena suerte!
P.S. From what it sounds, they already know you don't speak Spanish, I can't see how you'd keep up a fib like that without them catching on. From the shame comment, I think they already know.
One last question,
What P.O.S. high school are you going to that doesn't offer Spanish???

Ignore ignorant people like poster #1.
First off all, this is the internet, not America retard.
A very large percent of our country speaks Spanish, it's a great skill to have. You're probably just jealous you're pathetic little mind can't handle more than one language.

Agree with Lily - some people are so ignorant that they think America is a country when it is a continent [Mexico included]. That said, the more languages you know, the more you're worth. I speak 4 languages.
About your question, try Podcasts and listen to them everyday if you want a crash course.

If they offer it at your school you should take that class. Also there are some great language software programs, such as Rosetta-Stone. You should look into that.
Anyways, I bet if you just came clean with your family about it, they would probably help you out.

ok first of all, you must know that in spanish, unlike english, most sound aren't pronounced with your throat, they're pronounced and elaborated with your mouth and tongue.
You should then start with vowels
a - as pronounced in hAt
e - as pronounced in bEt
i - as ee pronounced in bEE
o - as pronounced in lO
u - as oo pronounced in bOOt
try to extract those exact sounds and you'll get the vowels. Remember they are "dry" sounds.
Some pages in internet will help you with sentence elaboration and a previous answerer already posted some so I don't think it'll be necessary to post other websites =)
