I'm going to be visiting some relatives in Japan next year and I want to get fluent in Japanese. The only language I currently speak is English. I'd rather learn by book/online resources than a tutor.

I have a few questions...

Would it be possible for me to understand and speak in the Japanese language without learning their writing system?

Could you recommend me some online Japanese language learning websites that are effective and professional?

Thank you

she coped with the many different family situations very well. i believe that in a way the extent of her difficulties have made her a stronger person and influenced her to make the best out of a bad situation.

she knew that she would not feel settled untill she had at least seen her family home once again.

she disliked it so much here, that she ran away to louisa's house.
