I would love to hear feedback. I am interested in Translation but not quite sure how to get into it. I thought about the teaching route but there isn't that much money with a teachee's salary, although it might be more if you are bi-lingual. HELP.

I am looking for a program where I can study spanish but also take other classes besides just spanish. I am looking for one in Madrid or Barcelona that allows you freedoms such as being able to explore the city with just your friends, especially at night. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just got married in July to an American. He converted to Islam about two years ago. I am a native Arabic speaker and I tried to teach him Arabic but I am so Busy with finishing up my Master's degree and do not have time to consistantly teach him.

We want to travel next year to an Arabic speaking country and enroll him in a fulltime intense Arabic course (for second language speakers).

P.S: Does anyone know how Hamza Yusuf Learned Arabic so Well? where did he study?

I'm just wondering, because some languages would be much easier to just learn to speak, and you can still communicate. What's your opinion?

addendum to above - I feel that some words are intrinsically singular in concept - eg Sainsburys or the Green Bay Packers or England or Manchester United - take for example 'Paramount pictures presents' - looks plural but is a 'company' ie a singular concept - sorry if this question seems a little 'anoraky' - opinions please
