A la nanita nana nanita ella nanita ella
Mi niña tiene sueno bendito sea, bendito sea
(repeat)

Fuentecita que corre clara y sonora
Ruiseñor que en la selva cantando llora
Calla mientras la cuna se balansea
A la nanita nana, nanita ella

Thank you Sunshine for answering my question on Chcialabym. Very helpful. As I have had some Polish people staying with me for 5 weeks and received an email from Piotr's wife I have had some difficulty understanding it. Could you translate this for me or could anyone who speaks Polish/English translate this for me. I would be most grateful, as I would like to keep in touch with them. They have been working in Scotland building a supermarket. They were great people. Thank you.

My Dad calls a dessert dish a fruit saucer, and I know of no one else who does. Do you recognise it, and if so, whereabout is the term used?

What does it mean? Does it mean a bad evil purpose? Or a formidable and critical one? Or could be both? I'm a bit confused here cuz I think it should be a widely used expression.
