Depending on the language, the same sound (phonetic english mooshi) means completely different things.

German "Muschi" has two meanings, same as english p-u-s-s-y actually. Means either "cat" or female genetalia. (EDIT: I had to put strokes between the letters to have it being shown here. What idiots are making up these rules? Americans suck!)
NOT obscene, actually! Any 6-year-old will call her genetalia "Muschi", while adults should change their vocabulary.
It actually freaks me out all the time when I hear adults using that word, makes me think "he must like children, why would he use that children's word otherwise?"

In english the word "mooshi" refers to a constistance, when something should be dry, crispy and is getting wet. Like dough, bread, or so. Not sure how to describe it (english is not my first language).

"Mooshi-Mooshi" in japanese is a greeting like "Hello". I do not speak japanese, I have just heard that.
