I am undecided. Although I do think the snow adds great feeling to the holidays, it's really hard to drive around when there's snow and ice.

What are some of your best tips for being a Grinch this Christmas?

ex) Lower the heat before guests arrive. You’ll save energy and the extra body heat generated by guests will warm the room.

For my family christmas this year we have a theme. We have to buy a gift for someone that is related to drinking. So for example you could buy wine, or a nice set of martini glasses. But I want to bring something a little more unique...price limit is $30..any ideas???

I'm weighing the appeal of not having a tree cut down, and I don't want either a plastic tree (who recycles those?) or a live tree (my landscape needs are for shorter, less thirsty trees).

I have two small kids, and I think they're already fully indoctrinated into the tree sect.

Has anyone else switched to wreaths, or found success with another substitute for a dying tree inside at Christmas?

Cheers.

I remember when I was little I used to watch these special Christmas shows all the time, I loved the Christmas episodes of the Simpson's and I loved the Flintstone's Christmas episodes, these were very good shows, I wonder if they are on DVD, I am going to check and see if they are on DVD,

I think it is so dumb that they call them Holiday trees. How many other holidays at this time put up a tree and decorate them? None that I know of. So it's a Christmas tree.
If you celebrate a holiday that does put up a tree and it's not Christmas, let me know.

ok well my and my ex girlfriend want to do christmas for eachother and she said that she doesnt want money spent so i guess that leaves me with having to make something and she is doing the same thing for me. i need help on what i can do cause i am not creative at all and i really suck when it comes to this kind of this if anyone has any ideas at all then please tell me because i am desperate right now. i do have pictures from when we where together and all if that helps anyone think of something.i want to do something that say i love you still but without tryin to make it seem i want her back badly. but i do so if thats in there i guess i dont really care.
this has now turned out to be a little bit harder. we are both in high school. our parent yesterday decided to get involved and said we should see eachother or have any contact anymore. i havent talked to her sence then. so i want something big now that will really say we can make it through this. i dont know how she feels now tho

I know there's alot of these questions out, but alot of them are for people who have been going out for like 2 months or a year and a half or something. I've been with my boyfriend for 9 months, 10 this 18th. He's 17, and I'm fifteen. I'm not sure what to get him. I was thinking a cd with a bunch of songs on it and maybe a picture frame with the last letters in his last name all photoshoped and such. But I feel like there could be a better idea. Any suggestions?

I find this festival of self indulgence, greed and nauseating sentimentality utterly sickening.
Bah! Humbug!

and this year I'm completely broke. How am I going to face everyone? I've had a tough year but I've taken care of my own. Now what am I going to do? I'm so low. Thanks.
Oh yes. I know the season isn't about how much you spend but trust me, some people are expecting it.
