I always thought "Hate" as too much of a strong word, if we all hated everything, we'd die of either hunger or boredom. But Christmas excites me like no other thing does, it is the one time in the year when you have an excuse for getting tipsy and you can make someone smile by giving them some merriment, I was in New Look once and a little boy came up to me because I had some shoes that his mum wanted, but she was in a wheelchair. I gave them to her because I was in the Christmas spirit and I thought I had a better quality of life, she would've felt glamorous in those shoes when I can always get some more. Christmas is special!

Love: Because of the kid's, that's what Christmas is all about seeing them opening presents, and all getting together for that Big Feast...
Hate: Because Christmas starts in August, every year seems to be earlier and earlier and costs far too much.
Happy Christmas x

I have to honestly say this year, I am not in the mood. I am making the effort for my children this year. They are getting older and harder to buy for. It just seems I am in a funk this year for Christmas.
I know that is awful but normally I love Christmas. Since my dad died, it has just not been the same.

I love the Christmas spirit, vodka is the usual one!
I have a 3yo little boy and he is soooo excited about Father Christmas coming, well he'd better, we've bought nowt! haha. Still id be glad when its all back to normality and we've eventually found somewhere for everything to go. I'm sure under the beds are full from last year.
Are you all prepared? Hope you have a smashing time.
Merry Christmas

I really enjoy the drinking, eating, time off work and giving and receiving of presents at Christmas, but I don't like how OTT people get. I was off work yesterday afternoon and was in town and it was completely RAMMED despite it being a week day afternoon. Really busy and full of people pushing and shoving each other, spending money that they can't really afford to spend, stressing about buying totally useless presents for people that they can't really stand, and to and from town everyone was driving like maniacs, in a panic to get some of their Christmas shopping done.
I love the idea of Christmas and how it brightens up mid-Winter but it really annoys me every year how selfish and manic it makes people in the run up, and how much stress people are under to have a "perfect" Christmas.

I dont like it, I LOVE IT. First off I can't wait to receive my presents because I dont get that many things during the year so when Christmas comes I get a lot of things. Also my family comes to visit (which I haven't seen the whole year) and we have a great time with good food. Its just the feeling that X-Mas is near that makes me happy....I just plain out LOVE it.

I love Christmas, and hate consumerism. I love the Christmas spirit, giving, being kind etc. I love what Christmas means -- the coming of the lord.
