Yes, you spelled "Chanukah" right. You even used the more "Jewish" spelling--most people use "Hanukkah" because it's easier to pronounce that way. And there's about a million different ways to spell it--it's hard to go wrong.
Merry Christmas to you and congratulations on your baby brother. I'm sure he's lucky to have a big brother who's so excited about his birth.
And yes, I'm excited. I'm running a toy drive at work, and last night I stayed 2 hours late to wrap the first of the presents. Seeing the pile of Christmas gifts all neatly stacked made me very excited. So it begins. . .

Im so excited! I love giving gifts and how everyone is cheerful and hot cocoa and i live in the north so i get snow too!! its def my fav holiday! I like the relious part of it too! Christ the Savior is born!!

Yes, it is! Which means I can start playing carols, and sorting decorations, and sing carols while I'm shopping without people looking at me funny. We have snow, too!
