I have picked my secret santa today for my class. I got a girl.

Here is what she likes (as writen on paper that I picked)...

Purple
Jewlery
Chocolate
Gummies
Lip Smakers

I know the girl but not really close or anything so this is all I know about what she likes.

We have a limit of 10-15 dollars. I may want to spend over. I know we aren't supposed to be we're supposed to have a gift per day (10 days). And truthfully I don't want to do just a chocolate or somethin per day because that's really boring to get. I know from experience it's boring when others are getting other more interesting things.

So I would rather not go to a dollarstore but still get good deals on it because I'm goin to try to stay under the money limit.

So any stores or things you guys come up with would be really helpful.

Today I bought and put up the 10 ft Santa Band and it plays music, if you have one can you tell me how to make the "sensor"' work, I don't want it playing all day long and bugging the neighbors :0 And I bought the Mickey/minney who are animated and come up and down, but when they go back down into the gift, they lean over the side and they look drunk ?? :) It is impossible to get thru to Gemmy I've tried :)

ok for school we get assigned "little buddies" who are little second grade kids we make cards and stuff....anyway we hav a gift exchange but the rule is the gift has to be under $5 and we cant giv gift cards

I am in college and I work but my mom still pays a majority of my expenses. I want to get her something nice for Christmas but it feels silly buying her something with money she gave me. I'm looking for the classics, NOT hymns or origional songs (like Merry X-Mass War is Over, Santa Baby or Feliz Navidad), not that I don't like those kinds of songs, I'm just looking for clean, pure, origional classic christmas songs. This year I'm doing a SS thing in my class and I got a girl who is really nice and shouldn't be a problem.

Problem is I'm not sure what to get her. I have a list of things she likes and that's all fine for some small things but I don't want to look like i've bought her cheap dollar store things. We have a price limit in my class of 15 dollars so a lot will have to be dollar store. Then I need a bigger end of the SS present.

I'm 33 and so is my boyfriend. We both make middle-class salaries. He is extremely picky about what he likes, and I know he would enjoy having an iPod. However, we've only been together for 4 months (although we're serious). I want to get him an iPod, which costs $150, but I'm worried it will cost too much and then he'll get me something for $50 and it'll be this big embarrassing moment.

I could also get him games for his PS2 but I don't feel like that's as special.

This was in Australia and the reason is that they said in America has slang for ho as a prostitute. I think this is insane and has nothing to do with the scummy slang. The Santa said they were trying to stop the Christmas spirit. Thsis has to stop people! Call the Australians
